Welcome and thank you for choosing Stepping Stones! We are a Montessori school located in the Uintah Basin. Our goal is to help your child succeed and grow. Our mission is to provide high-quality early childcare education that is self-taught and self-tailored to each child. Instead of using one-size-fits-all learning, we utilize Montessori principles to provide a highly individualistic learning experience. The child learns how to direct themselves, learn by themselves, and how to share that with others. We, as guides, are here to help the inner beauty, genius, and individuality of your child shine through.

Over the last year, we have had the privilege to see our daughter grow and discover with a confidence we have not seen before! We were hesitant to send our son to preschool so young (2.5 years old). He thrived at Stepping Stones Montessori preschool. His speech improved significantly, he learned to sing songs and name the days of the week. He started picking up after himself better and even helping do little tasks around the house. Kourtney is a great teacher and is so good with the kids. It was a great school year and we are excited to send him again next year.

We love this school! Miss Madison is especially wonderful, she has cared for my child in ways that are so comforting to me as his mother. I hope she knows how grateful I am for her special care and attention. I don’t worry about sending him there when the teachers are as great as Miss Madison is! Another favorite teacher is Miss Rachel, but they are all so kind and the owner is awesome as well.

Kourtney and everyone at Stepping Stone have been amazing to my family. I have a 1 and 2 year old in the program. They enjoy going to school and we have noticed improvement in their development since starting. As parent a parent, they make it very easy for us to navigate schedules and billing.
